Selectek, Inc. was established in December 1990 as a woman owned technical engineering staffing firm located in Atlanta and incorporated in the state of Georgia. Selectek is a privately owned corporation.

Our President, cofounder and senior partner, Kathrine Staub, has been a resident of Georgia for over 20 years. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1979 earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy. She continued her education at Eastern University in Philadelphia pursuing a Masters in Business Administration. After working in the fields of pharmacy and management, Ms. Staub founded Selectek, Inc. together with her partners Lyle Staub and Charles Cheney. Lyle graduated from St. Francis University with a Bachelor of Art degree in English with a minor in Business Finance. He has over 30 years experience in technical recruiting, sales, management and business development. Charles’ background includes over 30 years experience with the Marriott Corporation.

In almost twenty years of existence, Selectek, Inc. has enjoyed great success primarily due to our basic philosophy of “partnering” with our business clients. We have learned that the most successful human resource matches can best be made when we fully understand not only the client’s stated personnel requirements but also the client’s business goals, project scope, technical and management environment and time and resources constraints. In effect, we strive to define any given work project from the perspective of our client. In this manner, as the human resource partner, Selectek, Inc. has established a proven track record of providing the best skilled, highest qualified professionals who meet or exceed project goals on time and within budget. Our business is to make the “right” fit for both the client and prospective candidate.

Today Selectek, Inc. offers contract, contract to hire (temp to perm) and direct placement to companies of all sizes and technical disciplines throughout the United States. Our goal is to meet our client’s objective by putting the right people to work for the right project. This approach applies whether we are dealing with a “Fortune 500” company or a small-to-medium design group competing on a breakthrough bid proposal.
